ESP.

Its boomerang shaped legs move in synchrony to modify the product height, inspired on the helical or spiral movement. To lower the table you only have to pull from a liberation handle to allow the rotation of the mechanism and hence its transformation. To raise the table again you only have to stretch up and automatically the system locks and it remains firm.

Today we present you an example of transformable design from France. It’s the table by Boulon Blanc, a project funded through the platform Kickstarter which consists in a practical table which changes from a dinning table to a coffee table in one second, with a design which has taken a lot of work and ingenuity. The Boulon Blanc style is inspired on nature and nordic aspects where there is a predominance of light colours and simple finishing touches. The legs are made of solid oak and the table-top is available in 5 different finishing colours: white, grey, blue, red and yellow. The table contains more than 300 pieces as it consists on a product mechanically complex which results on an increasing of the product final price. The unit price is around 700€, a fact which hasn’t rolled back the backers who have allowed the surpassing of the initial objective of 33.000$.
